Tara: Um ... don't you think she's just...
Willow: Yeah ... she's just sort of a...

之後Buffy就跟著她的死黨們，到學生宿舍的休息室中休息，Buffy揉著剛剛被拋到地上傷到的左手臂，在房間內走來走去。而Willow、Tara、Xander和Anya則坐在椅子上聽Buffy在發表想法。
Buffy: Ow. I don't know about you guys, but I've had it with super-strong little women who aren't me.
芭菲：（揉）哎喲。我不知道你們怎麼想，但我被一個有超能力小女生弄傷了。

Tara還是有點同情Apirl。 Tara: Well, at least she didn't do too much damage. 泰拉：嗯，至少她沒有造成太大傷害。

聽了Tara的說法，Xander則是馬上反駁。
Xander: Are you kidding? Double-glazed windows ain't cheap. And the jamb needs to be completely repaired. (pauses) Oh dear god, I'm the grownup who sees the world through my job. I'm like my uncle Dave the plumber. I must be shunned.
詹德：妳在開玩笑嗎？兩片玻璃窗可不便宜耶。而且窗框也要好好大修一翻。（頓了一下）喔，老天啊，我已經是個會從自己的職業觀點來看事情的成年人了。我好像我那個當水電工的Dave叔叔。我一定會被人避之唯恐不及的。

Willow故意回答。 Willow: Okay. 薇珞：是啊。

Buffy揉著手臂，繼續引導著眾人討論。
Buffy: So, what do you guys think she is? I mean, this may sound nuts, but I kinda got the impression that she was a-
芭菲：那麼，你們覺得她是什麼呢？我是說，這可能聽來很瘋狂，但是我有點覺得，她是一個……

Tara點點頭，插嘴道。
Tara: Robot.
泰拉：機器人。

Tara一講完，大家全都一致點頭同意。
Xander: Oh yeah, robot.
詹德：喔，對，機器人。

Buffy低頭看著坐著的Tara。
Buffy: Yeah, I was gonna say robot. What do you think she wants?
芭菲：對，我也正要說是機器人。妳覺得她想要的是什麼？

Tara同情地說。
Tara: Warren, whoever that is.
泰拉：不管那是什麼，她想要Wareen。

這時Xander站了起來，手插著腰。
Xander: It's gotta be the guy that built her.
詹德：一定是那個製造她的男生。

Willow則對Warren這名字，別有一番見解。 Willow: It's an unusual name. There's hardly any except ... Warren Beatty and, you know, President Harding. It-it's probably not either of them. 薇珞：這是一個不常見的名字。頂多只會讓人想到……華倫比提或美國總統華倫哈定。而且她要找的十之八九不是這兩人。

Buffy認真地看著Willow。
Buffy: Will, can you track down this guy with only a first name?
芭菲：Willow，妳可以不用姓，只用名來查這個男生的下落嗎？

Willow點點頭。 Willow: Given enough time. I can get a list of the Sunnydale students named Warren tonight, but ... then we'll have to call them or go to their dorms, so we probably can't start narrowing it down till tomorrow. 薇珞：給我足夠的時間。我今晚就可以列出太陽谷鎮中叫Warren的學生名單，但……我們還得要打電話給他們，或著去他們的宿舍查證，所以我們或許直到明天才有辦法縮小範圍。

Buffy皺著眉，聽完Willow的回答。
Anya: She could do a lot of damage by then.
安雅：她在明天之前可能會傷害很多東西。

Xander則是一派輕鬆。
Xander: To who, Spike? See how vigorously I don't care. (Buffy smiles) She was looking for this Warren, but it didn't sound like she wanted to hurt him. She said he's her boyfriend.
詹德：她會傷害誰？Spike嗎？看我可是亂不在乎一把的。（Buffy笑了一下）她是在找這位叫Warren的人，但是聽來不像是要傷害他。她還說那是她的男朋友呢。

Willow接著說。 Willow: I agree. I'm not sure this is a code red. Hey, is there a code pink? We need more codes. 薇珞：我同意。我不確定這會像紅色警戒般嚴重。嘿，有粉紅色警戒嗎？我們得要多一點警戒的標示。 Tara聽了這個Willow式的幽默，忍不住微笑了一下。

Buffy贊同地說。
Buffy: Okay. We'll track down Warren tomorrow. Tonight I better go rescue Giles. He's been watching Dawn while my mom's out on her date, and I have a feeling there's only so much he can take.
芭菲：好。我們明天再去追查Warren。今晚我最好得去解救一下Giles。我媽去約會了，他在幫忙照顧Dawn，而我有個感覺，他已經照顧到他的極限了。

Tara聽到Giles在照顧Dawn，則是很放心地說。
Tara: Oh, Giles and Dawnie? I bet they ended up having a blast.
泰拉：喔，Giles和小Dawn？我想他們最後會相處得很愉快吧。

接著Buffy回到家裡，跟Giles聊起出現一個很像是個機器人的女孩，引起Giles的興趣，兩人並討論著第二天要趕緊調查這件事，正說著，Buffy的媽媽約會回來了，看來約會進行得相當順利，甚至還拿自己的約會情況，故意逗感情不順的Buffy開心。

而半夜時分，Apirl還是繼續挨家挨戶敲門，認真地詢問她男朋友Warren的下落。

第二天，這群殺魔小組的好友們一起聚在魔法商店內，眾人圍在圓桌前，Willow正用她可愛的筆記型電腦ibook在查跟Warren有關的資料。Giles站在Willow旁邊，手扶著牆壁，看她在查電腦，順口問著。
Giles: And you're certain she was a robot?
吉爾斯：妳確定她是個機器人？
Buffy: Absolutely.
芭菲：絕對確定。

Tara則是輕鬆地說。 Tara: Well, she practically had "Genuine Molded Plastic" stamped on her ass. 泰拉：嗯，她可有著「幾可亂真的人造塑膠屁股」呢。 Tara說完，Giles看了她一眼，Willow聽Tara這麼說，打字打到一半，手也停了下來，不大高興地嘟起嘴巴。Tara趕緊補充說明。 Tara: Just ... tryin' a little spicy talk. 泰拉：我只是……試著說點有顏色的話罷了。

Tara解釋完，Willow嘟起的嘴變成了微笑，又繼續打起電腦。Anya則是接著對Giles說明下去。
Anya: She was looking for someone named Warren.
安雅：她在找一個叫Warren的人。

Buffy回頭望著身旁的Giles。
Buffy: Willow's already checked the Sunnydale enrollment.
芭菲：Willow已經查了太陽谷大學的學生名單了。

聽了Buffy這麼說，還是在忙著查電腦的Willow，講出她目前查的結果。 Willow: And got nothin'. I found one Warren, but he moved out of the country a year ago. I'm checking nearby schools. 薇珞：沒查到什麼。我只找到一個叫Warren的，但是他一年前就搬出國了。我再查查附近的學校。

Xander似乎還難以忘懷Apirl的甜美可愛。
Xander: Whoever he is, he knows his stuff. That girl, well... (Buffy looks at him) that was a nice-lookin' girl.
詹德：不管他是誰，他清楚這機器人的存在。（邊想邊笑）那個女孩，呃……（Buffy看著他）長得還挺不賴的。

Tara挑了挑眉，看了Xander一眼，Anya還是繼續表現自己的寬宏大量。
Anya: It's okay for him to say that, 'cause I know that he really loves me only.
安雅：（微笑）他那樣說，我可是完全不介意，因為我知道他只愛我。

Anya說完，開心地看著Xander，Xander也高興地握著Anya的手，Buffy在一旁看著他兩人甜甜蜜蜜的，心裡一陣觸景傷情。
Giles: Is there something the rest of us could be doing?
吉爾斯：我們其他的人能幫得上什麼忙？

Xander雙手一攤。 Xander: What can we do? 詹德：我們可以做什麼？ Tara看向Giles。 Tara: Oh, do you have any books on robots? 泰拉：喔，你有跟機器人有關的書嗎？

Giles想故意諷刺被Apirl美貌迷惑住的Xander，於是回答說。
Giles:Oh, yes, dozens. There's an enormous amount of research we should do before - no, I'm lying. I haven't got squat, I just like to see Xander squirm.
吉爾斯：喔，有喔，一大堆。這裡有如山般的資料，我們可以先查一下。（頓了一下）其實沒有，我是騙人的。我並沒有什麼資料，只是想看Xander坐立不安的樣子。

看Giles故意虧他，Xander誇張地笑了笑，點點頭。
Xander: Funny. Charming and funny.
詹德：有趣。真是好笑又有意思啊。

突然Willow在電腦上查到了什麼，她看著螢幕把她的發現講給大家聽。 Willow: Hey! I think I found him. A Warren Mears. He went to Sunnydale High with us for a semester, and then he went to the tech college over in Dutton. I've got a local address where his folks still live. 薇珞：嘿！我想我查到他了。（Giles坐了下來，看著Willow的電腦螢幕）一位叫Warren Mears的人。他之前有跟我們在太陽谷高中一起念過一學期的書，然後他就去達頓市的科技大學唸書了。我有找到他的住址，他父母還住在這。

Willow拿出一張紙，從電腦上抄下Warren的住址。
Tara: He's probably home for spring break.
泰拉：他或許正回家放春假。
Buffy: Well, I'll go talk to him.
芭菲：嗯，我去找他談談。

Willow抄好後，把住址遞給Buffy，Buffy認真地看著這住址在哪。
Giles:No no no no no, wait, we don't know what you're walking into. (looks behind him, notices a customer standing by the counter) Uh, we have no idea what his motive is for building this thing. (stands)
吉爾斯：不、不、不……，等等，我們不知道會碰上什麼陷阱。（看了看身後，有個客人走到櫃檯要付錢）嗯，我們不知道他造出那東西的動機。

Giles起身，準備朝客人的地方走過去。Tara則是帶著某種暗示性的表情說。 Tara: Um ... don't you think she's just... 泰拉：嗯……你們不覺得她有點…… Willow也是一樣表情充滿暗示，卻欲言又止。 Willow: Yeah ... she's just sort of a... 薇珞：對，她有點像是個……

Xander則是直接了當，一下子就說出Willow和Tara兩人吞吞吐吐講不出口的答案。
Xander: She's a sexbot. (to Giles) I mean, what guy doesn't dream about that?
詹德：她是個滿足性慾的機器人。（對Giles）我是說，有什麼男人不會想要一個那樣的東西呢？

Giles不知道該怎麼回答，只好轉身去櫃檯幫客人算錢，Xander則是像在做白日夢般，很陶醉地說。
Xander: Beautiful girl with ... no other thought but to please you ... willing to do anything...
詹德：一個全心全意……只想努力討好你……任你予取予求的漂亮女孩。

他才剛講完，現場就一陣沉默，眼前的四個女孩都在瞪他。Xander緊張地笑一笑。
Xander: Too many girls. I miss Oz. He'd get it. He wouldn't say anything, but... (clears throat) he'd get it.
詹德：這的女生太多了。我真想念Oz。他會懂的。他雖不會附和什麼，但……（清清嗓子）他會懂的。

Willow又繼續看向電腦螢幕。
Anya: Why would anyone do that if they could have a real live person?
安雅：如果能找個活生生的真人相愛，誰會想要弄一個機器人？

Willow語帶無奈地說。
Willow: Maybe he couldn't. Find a real person.
薇珞：或許他找不到一個真人相愛吧。

Buffy搖搖頭，不表贊同。
Buffy: Oh, come on. The guy's just a big wedge of sleaze, don't make excuses for him.
芭菲：喔，拜託。那男的只是個下三濫的神經病，別給他找藉口。

Giles服務完客人，又回到圓桌那，坐到Willow身邊，Willow這時正在跟Buffy解釋她的想法。 Willow: I'm not, I'm just saying, people get lonely, and maybe having someone around, even someone you made up ... maybe it's easier. 薇珞：我沒有。我只是說，人都會寂寞，或許弄個人陪在身邊，即使是自己造的……也會比找個真人簡單吧。
	Buffy聽了Willow的一番話，陷入沉思中，Tara也是很有感觸。 Tara: But it's so weird. I mean, everyone wants a nice normal person to share with, but this guy, if he couldn't find that, I guess it's ... kinda sad. 泰拉：但這真的好詭異。我的意思是，大家都希望找個不錯的常人來相處，但這個男的，如果他無法找到人相伴，我猜那……可是挺悲哀的。
聽完Tara的話，Buffy有點難過地低頭望著自己的手。後來Buffy就走到魔法商店的訓練室內，拿出了之前Ben給他的電話號碼，打電話給Ben，此時只見Glory家的電話響起，突然間，Glory變成了Ben，他接起Buffy的電話，兩人愉快地約了第二天晚上見面喝咖啡。
