「魔法奇兵」第六季第十四集—Older and Far Away (3)

Tara: Just ... bring me what you have. But I'm doing this alone.

之後Buffy把大家全聚集到客廳裡，開始跟大家說出她心裡擔心的事情。
Buffy: There's something keeping us in this house.
芭菲：有某個東西，讓我們一直待在房子裡。
Xander: Or someone.
詹德：或著某個人。
Tara: Has everyone tried to get out?
泰拉：有誰試過走出去嗎？
Willow: What if we just, like, as a group, got up and, and threw ourselves at the door?
薇珞：那麼不如乾脆我們，就像是團體行動一樣，站起來，然、然後朝門衝過去。

Xander環顧大家。 Xander: All right. Count of three. One ... two ... three! 詹德：好吧。數到三。（大家準備移動）一、二、三！ Xander說完，沒人移動半步。Xander又喊了一聲。 Xander: Here we go! 詹德：我們來啦！

還是沒人有移動的跡象，而Dawn則是不大高興地坐到一旁。Buffy望著大家，無奈地說。
Buffy: Hence the problem.
芭菲：所以有問題。
Richard: I really need to go. I mean, I have a job to get to.
里察：我真的得走了。我有工作要做。
Anya: I have to open the Magic Box.
安雅：我得要去給Magic Box開店了。
Sophie: I have a shift at the DoubleMeat. Actually, I'm okay here.
蘇菲：我在DoubleMeat有班。（思考了一秒）其實，我待在這裡沒關係。
Clem: Yeah, I'm, I'm fine.
克雷姆：對呀，我、我沒關係。
Xander: Willow and Tara have class, I gotta be at the site.
詹德：Willow和Tara有課，我要去工地。

Buffy從原本坐著的沙發上站起，點點頭。
Buffy: I know, I know, we all have places that we'd rather be.
芭菲：我知道，我知道，我們都有各自想去的地方。

Dawn聽了Buffy的話，表情更加生氣。Spike則是順著Buffy的話喃喃自語。
Spike: Things we'd rather be doing.
大釘：有我們想做的事。
Buffy: I think the first priority has to be to find a way out.
芭菲：我想最優先的就是找一個出去的方法。

Dawn看著地上，冷冷地回著。
Dawn: Sure. Of course you all wanna leave. 'Cause being stuck in here with me, that would really suck, right?
糖：沒錯。你們全都當然想走。因為和我待在這裡，真是有夠爛的，對吧？

Buffy皺著眉看向Dawn，Willow則是少一根筋地回答。 Willow: No, Dawnie! It's just, we have more important things to do. 薇珞：不，小Dawn！只是，我們有一些比較重要的事要去做。

Dawn打斷Willow，不耐煩地站起來。
Dawn: Yeah, I know. Important. Whatever that means, right?
糖：對啦，我知道。重要的事。管他那是什麼東西，對吧？

Dawn說完就生氣地衝上二樓自己房內，趴到床上，Buffy、Tara、Willow、Xander和Spike則全部跟著她的腳步，也來到Dawn的房間。
Buffy: Dawn?
芭菲：Dawn？

Dawn趴在床上，背對著Buffy。
Dawn: What?
糖：怎樣？
Buffy: Did you do something?
芭菲：妳有做了什麼事嗎？

Dawn惱火地回答。
Dawn: Me?
糖：我？
Tara: Do you know something? 'Cause we want you to feel like you can tell us.
泰拉：妳知道什麼嗎？因為我們希望妳可以告訴我們。

Dawn 坐直身體，轉身憤怒地看向大家。 Dawn: What would I know? 糖：我哪知道什麼？ Willow: Look, we're not accusing you of anything, it's just ... you were kind of taking it personal down there. 薇珞：聽好，我們沒有指控妳做了什麼，只是……妳對待這件事有點個人情緒。

Dawn: Oh. Okay. So you've all just decided that somehow I'm responsible. Great. Here's me baskin' in the love. 糖：喔。好吧。所以你們全都一致認為我該負責。真好。這可就是我沐浴到的關愛。 Xander: No, it's just, you know, you're upset 'cause we all wanna leave. And now we can't leave. Only thing missing is a cornfield. There ... there isn't a cornfield, is there? 詹德：不，只是，妳不高興我們想要離開。而現在我們不能離開了。而跟大家唱反調的人就是有問題的。應……應該沒有問題的，是嗎？ Buffy: Dawnie, it's okay. You know, we're not gonna be mad. 芭菲：小Dawn，沒關係的。我們不會生氣的。

Dawn生氣地說。
Dawn: Yeah, only I didn't do anything!
糖：是啊，只有我才是什麼都沒做的！

Willow不大相信地反問。
Willow: You sure?
薇珞：妳確定？
Dawn: You want me to ask my other self?
糖：妳要我再去問另一個自己嗎？
Buffy: Dawn, we're just trying to figure out what's going on.
芭菲：Dawn，我們只是想搞清楚發生了什麼事。

Dawn頂嘴說。
Dawn: Figure it out yourself. I'm done being talked to like a kid.
糖：自己去想辦法。我已經受夠被當成小朋友說話了。

Xander提醒Dawn是否在無意之間亂召喚了什麼。
Xander: Well, 'cause you know, sometimes we do something that seems like a good idea at the time, like, say, invoke the power of a musical amulet? And it turns out, you know, not so much.
詹德：呃，因為妳知道的，有時候我們一時間會做一些似乎像是好主意的事，好比，召喚音樂劇護身符的魔力？而結果卻是，沒自己想像中好。
Dawn: God! I didn't do anything! I wish I had. I'm glad you're trapped. How else can I get anybody to spend any time with me?
糖：天啊！我什麼都沒做！我真希望我有。我很高興你們被困住了。（非常生氣）我到底要怎樣才會讓人肯花時間陪陪我啊？
Buffy: Dawn. If you want us to spend time with you-
芭菲：Dawn。如果妳想要我們花時間陪妳……

Dawn心裡怒火中燒。 Dawn: I don't. Get out. 糖：我沒有。滾出去。 Buffy瞪著Dawn，但Dawn則是尖叫要大家滾出去。 Dawn: Get out, get out, get out! 糖：滾出去、滾出去、滾出去。

大家陸續走出Dawn的房間，非常生氣的Dawn又趴回床上。

大夥回到客廳後，感覺人人都心煩意亂。Anya對著身旁的Xander，不客氣地說出她的看法。
Anya: I think she's possessed.
安雅：我想她是被附身了。
Xander: She's a teenager.
詹德：她正值青春期。

Tara從飯廳走到客廳。
Tara: Phones are all out, we're totally cut off.
泰拉：電話都不通，我們完全跟外界失聯了。

大家的心情又更加低落，而Buffy想著Dawn的舉止，則是非常不解。 Buffy: She's just so angry. 芭菲：她這麼生氣。 Tara: It happens. We all went through it. 泰拉：難免的。我們全都有經歷過。 Buffy: I know. I just can't figure out why she didn't come to me. 芭菲：沒錯。我只是想不通她為什麼沒跟我提過。 Xander: Well, you have been a little busy lately. 詹德：妳最近可是忙得很啊。

Xander和Anya一同看向Buffy，Buffy低下頭去。
Spike: Hey, I don't wanna keep you all from the touchy-feelies, but maybe the encounter group can meet later. Say, when we're not trapped in a house.
大釘：嘿，我可不想破壞你們大家敏感的心靈，但是或許稍後還有時間作心靈交流。好比，當我們沒有困在房子裡的時候。

Tara冷靜地對Buffy說出她的想法。
Tara: Even if Dawn does know something, she's obviously not gonna help us right now. We need another way.
泰拉：即使Dawn真的知道什麼，很顯然她現在也不想幫我們。我們得想別的法子。
Buffy: I think magic's gonna be our best bet. Something general, you know? Cast a wide net.
芭菲：我想我們現在最好就是用魔法。一些普通的魔法，知道嗎？可以弄出一道對外連結的門。

Tara點點頭，Xander卻有疑惑地看向Willow。
Xander: But ... Willow.
詹德：但是……Willow。

Tara馬上代感到相當緊張的Willow回答。
Tara: No, I'll do it. It's just, o-obviously I didn't bring any supplies.
泰拉：不，我來動手。只是，顯然我沒有帶任何用品過來。
Buffy: Well, we don't have any in the house. We got rid of everything.
芭菲：那，我們房子裡也沒有半件。我們已經清掉所有的東西了。

Willow的眼神充滿罪惡感，她緊張地說。 Willow: Actually ... not everything. I, uh... might have ... kept one or, or two things. Sort of. 薇珞：其實……不是所有東西。我，嗯……或許有……留下一件或、或兩件東西。有一點點。 Buffy不敢相信地看了Willow一眼，Willow趕緊解釋。 Willow: ...just in case. 薇珞：……只是以防萬一用的。
Xander: That's great! 詹德：（高興）太好了！ Xander頓了頓，看旁邊的人都沒太大反應，馬上轉口，並對Willow搖搖手。 Xander: ...in a very bad way. 詹德：……就很糟糕的角度來說。

Tara嘆了口氣從沙發上站起，嚴肅地看著Willow。
Tara: Just ... bring me what you have. But I'm doing this alone. You need to stay away from it.
泰拉：就……把妳有的拿給我吧。但是我一個人弄這個魔法就好。妳要離得遠遠的。

說完後，Tara面色凝重地轉身走到廚房。

在拿了Willow備用的魔法用品後，Tara開始在廚房裡準備施魔法，Buffy和Xander也站在一旁，嚴肅地看Tara在調配著施法用品。至於Willow、Spike和Anya則是一字排開站在玄關前，專心等著隨時可以走出門。

Anya認真看著大門，不是很確定是否能成功。
Anya: So we're supposed to just wait?
安雅：所以我們就只要等囉？
Willow: It won't take long.
薇珞：不會等太久的。

隨即Sophie、Richard和Clem這三人也走到玄關前，準備加入可以馬上離開房子的行列，但Richard卻忍不住指著出不去的大門發問。
	Richard: All right, somebody wanna tell me what's, what's going on here? We're trapped in a house by ... by what, some unseen force or something. Who knows what she's doing in there. And I have to tell you... I don't think that's a skin condition. 里察：好吧，有誰想要告訴我這裡是怎麼了？我們困在房子裡是因為……因為什麼？一些看不見的幽靈或什麼嗎？（指廚房）誰知道她在那裡做什麼？（看向正在抓癢的Clem）而且我必須告訴你……我不認為那是皮膚病。
	說時遲那時快，Tara已經在缽內調配好施法的用品，然後點燃火柴丟到裡面，缽內泛起了一縷紅色煙霧，一路朝客廳方向飄去。 Tara: Release. 泰拉：（念咒）釋放。

但沒有人發現，這縷紅煙卻圍向了Buffy擺在櫃子旁的長劍——這把她前兩晚殺惡魔的戰利品，而原本被封在劍內的惡魔此時正悄悄地被釋放了出來。

施法看似順利，Tara朝站在玄關的大夥們下達指示。
Tara: Try the door!
泰拉：試試看門！

Spike握緊拳頭，用盡全力想要朝大門走去，但是怎樣就是無法移動半步，Willow和Anya站在門前，也沒有朝前移動的跡象，只是愣愣看著Spike。

試了一下子，Spike無奈地放棄。
Spike: No. Can't.
大釘：不。不行。

但就在大家的注意力全在那道無法跨越的大門上時，劍魔已經被完全釋放，它抓起它的長劍，對眾人發出一陣低吼，旋即衝上前去一陣亂砍，站在玄關前的大家被這突如其然的狀況嚇得紛紛閃避，只有Richard閃避不及，被劍魔一劍刺向肚子。Buffy從廚房裡衝出來，則趕緊朝劍魔攻擊去，劍魔一倒地，就隨著劍突然消失在眾人眼前。

Buffy好不容易站穩身子，Xander和Tara則上前關心倒臥在地的Richard，突然間，劍魔又出現在Buffy身後，朝她攻擊過去，Buffy於是整個人被重重拋向一旁，撞倒了Spike。旋即劍魔又再度消失不見。

Spike不解地從地上爬起來。 Spike: What the bloody hell was that? 大釘：那到底是什麼鬼東西？

Buffy警戒地看向四周，深怕劍魔再次出現。
Buffy: That's the demon I killed two nights ago.
芭菲：那是我兩晚前殺的惡魔。
Spike: The demon you thought you killed.
大釘：那是妳以為妳殺掉的惡魔。

Xander看向受重傷的Richard，表情相當不妙。
Xander: It looks pretty bad.
詹德：看起來情況很不妙。

Anya也蹲在Richard，整個人慌了手腳。
Anya: Oh god. Oh, god.
安雅：喔，天啊。喔，天啊。

眼看大家都在擔憂Richard的傷勢，Buffy則是害怕得心裡一陣緊張，只是直直站在原地，不知道該怎麼處理，還好Tara還算目前眾人中比較冷靜的一位。 Tara: Let's get him upstairs. We need to get him to a doctor soon. 泰拉：（對大家）我們帶他去樓上。（對Buffy）我們必須盡速帶他去看醫生。

Buffy上前一步，安慰大家。
Buffy: Hey, i-it's gonna be okay. Just trust me, I promise we'll be out of here soon.
芭菲：嘿，會沒事的。相信我，我保證我們會馬上離開這裡的。

	Buffy的保證看來也只是真的純安慰而已，大家從白天一路又到了晚上，中間還是想不出什麼破門而出的好法子。而在這期間，房子的牆壁內不斷傳出惡魔穿梭其中的低吼聲，在這種恐懼的陰影下，Willow和Tara在臥室內照顧重傷的Richard，Spike和Buffy在客廳裡審查聲音的來源，Xander在二樓的一個角落，拼命安慰壓力太大，緊張得受不了的Anya，而為了要讓Anya放心，Xander決定下樓查看一下狀況。
	但就在Xander下樓梯想探聽狀況時，劍魔卻突然出現在他身後，拿劍架住Xander的脖子，Spike和Buffy聞聲趕上去救了Xander，但劍魔最後還是又消失不見，Anya則是聽到尖叫，趕緊衝下樓看Xander有沒有怎樣，但Xander則是一直要Anya放心，他其實沒什麼大礙。
